Audiological Scientist

I have worked in Brighton as a Consultant Clinical Scientist (Audiology) for 27 years. I am head of service for the BSUH NHS Audiology service and have worked within the Sussex Audiology Centre for the last 18 years. I have two main clinical areas; Paediatric audiology where I specialise working with children with complex needs and communication disorders and Balance work, where I provide diagnostic evidence leading to accurate diagnosis of balance disorders.
I have been regularly involved in medicolegal assessments of both hearing and balance and also am familiar with conducting the noise damage calculations for legal assessment of industrial noise compensation.
