Elysia Stepney

Audiologist

I qualified as an audiologist with first class BSc (Hons) in 2023 after completing a 4 year degree apprenticeship at Aston University whilst working in a busy Brighton hospital audiology department. I was honoured to be one of the first in my previous workplace offered this opportunity to work and study simultaneously.

My passion for audiology began in my first degree in speech and language science and grew stronger when I was a part of the newborn hearing screening team in Brighton. I have 4 years experience of working with adults and complex needs and specialise in paediatrics. I’m delighted to be offering home visits to clients ensuring equal access to all as this very important to me.

In my spare time, you’ll find me with my husband and two step children (who are quickly towering above me), as well as rehabilitating my ex race horse and galloping across the downs with him.
