Transfer Your Hearing Aid Care to Sussex Audiology Centre

At Sussex Audiology Centre, we understand that circumstances change. Whether you're unhappy with your current provider, your previous audiologist has ceased trading, or you've recently moved to the area and need a trusted local audiology partner, we're here to help you continue your hearing journey with confidence.

Our Transfer of Care service ensures a smooth transition, providing you with expert support to maintain and optimise your existing hearing aids. We'll assess your current devices, check your hearing, and ensure everything is programmed correctly for your individual needs.

When to Consider Transfer of Care

Our Transfer of Care packages are designed for patients who:

  • Are unhappy with their current hearing aid provider
  • Have had their previous provider cease trading
  • Have moved to the area and require a new audiology partner
  • Need ongoing support for hearing aids purchased elsewhere

Basic Transfer of Care Package

Initial appointment: £175

Follow-up appointments: £90

Our basic package is ideal if you need essential support to get your hearing aids working properly again. Perfect for older hearing aids that still have life left in them but need reprogramming and professional attention.

What's included:

  • Full hearing re-test and assessment
  • Comprehensive hearing aid check-up and cleaning
  • Reprogramming to match your current hearing levels
  • Professional guidance on hearing aid maintenance
  • Ongoing appointments at £90 per visit (as needed)

This package provides essential care to get you back on track, with the flexibility to book follow-up appointments when required. Please note this does not include ongoing aftercare or consumables.

Most Comprehensive

Comprehensive Transfer of Care Package

£450 per ear*

Up to 4 years of aftercare

For hearing aids not more than 6 years old, our comprehensive package provides exceptional value and peace of mind with extensive ongoing support.

What's included:

  • Full hearing re-test and assessment
  • Comprehensive hearing aid check-up and reprogramming
  • Up to 4 years of ongoing hearing aid care
  • Regular retesting to ensure optimal performance
  • Unlimited adjustment appointments
  • Professional cleaning and maintenance
  • Expert troubleshooting and support

Please note: This package excludes consumables such as domes, wax guards, and ear wax removal services, which are available separately. This aftercare is specific to your current hearing aids and is not transferable. Should you choose to upgrade your hearing aids within the 4-year period, this aftercare would cease and the full hearing aid package amount would be payable.

Eligibility: For hearing aids not more than 6 years old from the date of original purchase.

Important Information

NHS Hearing Aids: Unfortunately, we are unable to support the ongoing care of NHS hearing aids through either of our Transfer of Care packages. If you have NHS hearing aids, please continue to access support through your local NHS audiology department.
